The latest Honda HR-V can easily be described as one of the best compact SUVs in the world right now. Then again, the same can be said for the latest Jeep Renegade. Both vehicles are simply hot in the market right now but they both have completely different purposes.
The Honda HR-V, in particular, is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that is paired to a CVT gearbox. This makes it the ideal compact SUV for city usage as it is affordable to own, practical, reliable and also very fuel economical.
Then there is the Jeep Renegade which is powered by a 1.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The motor is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox that is not fuel savvy at all. However, the Renegade does come out with Jeep’s hallmark 4WD system. This means that the Renegade is the best off-roading vehicle in its segment.
