The Volkswagen Golf R is about to get refreshed with a mid-cycle model and the car is due to arrive next year. The Golf R Facelift is going to be a really special sports hatch as it looks to come with a styling that is inspired by the 1989 Rally Golf and a more refined powertrain.
Hence, it is safe to assume that the Golf R Facelift is going to come out with yellow for its exterior and silver for its interior. Such a colour combination will give the Golf R Facelift a classier look.
The engine, on the other hand, will be up-to-date. The Golf R Facelift is expected to run on a 2.3L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that is paired to a 7-speed DSG transmission. The Golf R Facelift will also be running on the AWD system.
