You can bet that the purist was not happy when Porsche announce that they were going to release the 2017 Porsche 911 GTS with a turbo engine. The fans were afraid that this would happen after the Carrera and it did. So it is really that bad?
The 2017 Porsche 911 GTS will now be running on the 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged six cylinder engine. Porsche has not revealed the numbers yet but we know that the same was able to deliver about 420hp when it was fitted with the Carrera S which means it should be offering more than 420hp on the 911 GTS.
To soothe the pain of the fans, it is said that Porsche might also be offering the Porsche 911 GTS with a six-speed manual transmission. If the extra ponies is not enough to win the fans back, getting the chance to drive the 911 GTS with a stick should do the trick.
The Porsche 911 GTS should be making its debut next year.
