The Galaxy S5 is days away from its release and it has been disappointing for the fans as this flagship device from Samsung failed to live up to the many rumours surrounding it. One key aspect is with the wireless charging feature.
Despite it being missing on the Galaxy S5, fans can still get the device and equip it with a wireless charging back cover personally. The hard part to swallow is that the feature is made by Samsung. It is available in the Samsung store for only $29.99. It comes in two colours and they are black & white.
Of course, wireless charging is a two-way model. The Galaxy S5 needs to have that compatible back cover and there is a plate needed to transmit the electricity. Without either element, wireless charging will not work.
The frustrating thing is that all of Samsung’s smartphone are ready for wireless charging and it is hard to understand why the phone manufacturer denied the back cover from being built with the phone. Is it because of business? Or to keep the cost of the S5 down? Share us your thoughts below.
