Even though BMW have not officially issued the recall yet, it is said that one recall is on the way and this recall will affect the BMW X5, X6, and a few other BMW models.
According to RoadShow, BMW will be issuing a recall soon to recall the 2007-2011 BMW X5, 2008 -2011 BMW X6, 2010-2011 BMW X6 ActiveHybrid, 2010-2011 535i Gran Turismo. 2011-2012 BMW 528i, 535i xDrive, 2012 BMW 535i Active Hybrid and more.
It is estimated that a total of 138,188 cars will be recalled. The reason behind the recall could be some of the wires into the BMW that could be bent out of shape. The wires will then overheat the connectors and melt it causing leakage. The leaked gasoline could lead to a fire which is why it is important for BMW to get it fixed as soon as possible.
The recall should be announced on the 5th of December so be prepared.
