Earlier this month, Rockstar became the centre of a huge buzz after is launches the highly anticipated Heist DLC to GTA 5. After years of waiting, players can now get together with their pals to rob banks together.
Every player is definitely happy with the Heist DLC but for those on the Xbox 360 and PS3, their excitement died quickly. This is because they suddenly remembered Rockstar’s statement from earlier this year. The game developer shared that the support for GTA 5 on the older gen consoles will be ending after the launching of Heist DLC.
In other words, GTA 5 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 won’t be receiving any further content updates. Then again, the players are unsure if the support has ended already with the arrival of the Heist DLC.
Rockstar has yet to make any announcement on it and the rumours too believe that there will still be another DLC coming to GTA 5, including the older-gen version of the game. The word is that a casino-themed DLC is in development and it will be coming to GTA 5 in a couple of months from now.
Of course, rumours are still rumours and they should be taken with a pinch of salt. Until Rockstar gives an update on the status of support to the players, those on the older-gen consoles should not worry about anything yet.
