Chrysler is desperate the clear out its inventories from the 2012 Dodge Viper. The super sports car has been the slowest selling car in the whole wold that Chrysler was forced to unload 91 employees. As of today, there are 600 unsold Viper and Chrysler intends to do something about it.
In a desperate move, the American carmaker is putting up a massive $15,000 discount for the Viper. The discount is applicable for all unsold 2014 models and the incoming 2015 variants. After the price cut, the Viper can be owned for just $84,995.
Furthermore, Dodge is adding another perk to this deal. 2012 Viper owners who wish to trade in their vehicle for the new Viper can do so while enjoying an additional $15,000 of the price tag. This accumulates to $69,995 for the American super car.
Both Chrysler and Dodge has decided that the Viper shouldn’t be an SRT car as it won’t sell. As such, the carmaker will be putting their jewel in every showroom, together with other vehicles from Dodge.
This is some great news as it shows that Dodge is actually trying to sell their vehicle instead of praying for some rich man to purchase the Viper.
