Volkswagen has done it again. They came to the Beijing Auto Show, they revealed a new concept and the conquered the attention of the world. For years now, we have heard rumours on a new VW sedan that will be larger than the Jetta but smaller than the Passat.
Last week, the rumours finally came true as the VW unveiled the tentatively-named, Jetta CC. The car will be powered by a 220PS, 217hp powertrain that can achieve 0-100km/h in a matter of 6.5seconds. Furthermore, the vehicle will come with a top speed of 245km/h.
Also, the sedan will be a four-door coupe that is shorter than a Jetta but wider than a Passat. Just from the looks of it, we can tell that that the upcoming vehicle will be the CC’s smaller sibling that is based on the Jetta sedan.
Of course, the performance specifications are based on our assumptions. VW has yet to spill the beans on the Jetta CC but we can expect to hear more about it soon. It could be that VW is testing the public’s reaction with the concept.
