If you are not a rooter, it won’t really matter where you get the Google Pixel smartphones but if you are planning to root the device, you might want to stay away from Verizon.
We all know that Verizon is not really a fan of modding. Well, Evan Blass has now confirmed that the Google Pixel XL and the Google Pixel from Verizon will come with bootloaders that are not unlockable.
A lot of poeple assume that Verizon has not been tinkering around with the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL because it does not come with the Red logo now but they have.
However, if you don’t plan to root it, getting it from Verizon is not so bad of an idea. You won’t be getting as much bloatware now and you will still be getting all the Google Assistant features.
If you are looking for a unlockable version, get it from the Google Store but if you are want to get the blue version, you might have to wait a little longer because it is sold out for now.
