We were all pretty happy with what Honda had to offer on the Honda Pilot and nobody really had any problem when a report suggested that the Honda CR-V will be coming in with a new design based on the Honda Pilot.
The only issue with that information now is that it isn’t going to be based on the Honda Pilot at all. New spy shots reveal that the Honda CR-V will not be getting the Pilot design but will instead be fitted with a new design based on the new Honda Civic model.
The vehicle was heavily covered in camo but it is clear that the grille, taillight and headlight design all matches the one on the Honda Civic right now. It has also been reported that the Honda CR-V will come riding on the Honda Civic platform and will also be running on the 1.5 liters VTEC Turbo engine or 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine that the Honda Civic is offering right now.
