It is no secret that whenever a Samsung Galaxy S device gets released, the Galaxy Note will be the follow up to that This pattern is expected to repeat this year. The Galaxy S5 is already out and now, there is a growing anticipation for the next phablet. With so much rumours surfacing, we have decided to compare both devices and see if the Note 4 is worth the wait.
In terms of display, the Galaxy S5 packs a 5.1 inch screen that is the best in the industry at the moment. The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to feature a similar thing although the display size will grow bigger and curvier.
Then there is the processor. The Galaxy is 5 Is powered by the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor. The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to do one better by running on the 64-bit processor with eight-core chips from Exynos.
The S5 is running on the Andorid 4.4.2 KitKat. With the Note 4 coming later, it might just get the Android 4.5 Lollipop.
As for the cameras, the Galaxy S5 has been really impressive with its upsized 16MP rear camera. The Note 4 will be expecting to get a minor upgrade on this on with an 18-20MP rear camera. The bigger focus is on the front camera which will be a whooping 8MP to capture those selfie moments.
Finally is the battery. The Galaxy S5 has a battery capacity of 2,800mAh. With the Galaxy Note 4 bigger body, there is a chance that it might have a bigger capacity battery.
It seems the difference won’t be that big between the two devices. Then again, it is the S5 compared with the rumours. We just have to wait for the real thing.
