Many companies have always utilized window vans to transport their products all around the city. Well, this segment is about to get a revolution as Toyota has released images of its U-squared urban utility vehicle on the internet.
On the front portion, the vehicle looks so much like a car as it comes with a hood and a really beautiful grille. For a van that will be used commercially, it has a sporty face with narrow LED headlamps and nice grey bumper.
What makes it a favourite is its versatility to cater the different kind of loads it can transport. For starters, the roof can be rolled back to fill up tall goods. The other special thing is that the rear door is opened from the top and it lands on the road, this creating a short ramp for trolley users.
The Urban Utility concept can accommodate two passengers at one time and it has a pretty neat interior. Of course, things are a little bit too futuristic in the cabin as it comes with a mix of weird, organic shapes with an undulating steering wheel, oval speedometer and iPad.
All in all, the Utility Concept will surely be appealing in the logistic market. For years now, companies have been relying on old-looking vans to do their transporting and this segment needs a refresh. Toyota will surely put this straight into production with the aid of Tesla and it is going to be legendary.
