Honda Accord & CR-V Small Recall But Major Problem Should Be Replaced!

Honda had just launched a recall for a few of its Honda Accord and CR-V due to a suspected fault with the engine short block. This is rare issue as it is unusual for a recall to be caused by the short block.

Honda explained that the short block is an engine component and in the recall case, the bolt has been improperly torque by a machine.

In detail, the issue only exist on the 4-cylinder engine and it affected a total of 137 vehicles only. The owners of the affected 2014-2015 Accord and CR-V have been notified on the issue and they can head down to the nearest service centre to get their vehicle fixed.

Then again, we feel that Honda should give the affected owners a new car instead of a repairing service. Anything involving the engine is something very serious and a repair won’t be suffice for the owners.
