Android Auto: Coming To The US!

It was only last week when we revealed that Android Auto is going to make its full debut on the cars from Hyundai. Now, more carmakers are making it known that they too will be offering Android Auto and the latest is Chevrolet.

The American carmaker shared that the Android Auto will be launched on all of their 2016 vehicles. The list includes the Chevrolet Cruze, Cammaro, Volt, Spark and Malibu. In total, there will be 14 Chevrolet models being part of the company’s MY2016 line-up and they will all come with Android Auto.

Android Auto will be rivalling the Apple CarPlay when released. The system will make a car’s infotainment system easier to use and more functional than before.

On the Chevrolet cars, Android Auto will be introduced together with the MyLink infotainment system. Apple fanboys don’t have to be upset by this as Chevrolet has shared that they will still keep hold of CarPlay. This means that Chevy owners can decide between Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
