Resident Evil 7: Texas Chainsaw Massacre Direction Not Sitting Well With Fans?
The new Resident Evil 7 demo and trailers have proof that Capcom still knows how to make great horror games but some fans are not too sure about the direction the developers are taking.
The Resident Evil games have always been about zombies and monster but from what we have been seeing so far, it does feel like the developers are taking a whole new direction and is exploring the whole slasher genre. The last trailer, the demo, and the new screenshots that they released this week all reminded us of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
We are not saying that it won’t be scary but we were hoping that it would be more of a zombie game than a slasher game. Since it is a Resident Evil game, after all, Zombies will eventually pop up but hopefully more than what we have been seeing now.
Capcom has also just announced that there will be no microtransactions in the game.
