Sulking. That is the word that best describe the Resident Evil fans at the moment after experiencing a thoroughly unappealing second trilogy. Regardless, Capcom kept on insisting that things are going to be great in Resident Evil 7.
Well, Capcom might just be right this time round. This is after a screenshot of the future title’s main menu got leaked online and it somehow confirms that Resident Evil 7 will actually be a remake of the entire first trilogy.
Unlike the second trilogy, the series’ first three titles are much loved by the fans as it offers the ultimate horror experience on a video game. As for the last three titles, the genre was changed into a third-person FPS and the change was disliked by majority of the fans.
On another note, the leak also shared that Resident Evil 7 will be known as Resident Evil Zero. If the leak is spot on, then Resident Evil Zero will without a doubt bring the franchise back into its glory days. Also, the future title will be the first in the series to debut on both the Xbox One and PS4.
