Resident Evil 2 Remake: Nothing To Chew On

By  |

It was initially predicted that the Resident Evil 7 game could also be coming in with a demo of the Resident Evil 2 Remake as fans came to the conclusion that that was what the black screen in the first demo was referring to.

However, the new Resident Evil 7 is already here and there is no sign of the demo at all. Maybe Capcom did not want the Resident Evil 2 Remake to distract the fans from the new game.

Whatever the story is, the main point now is that we still do not have any new information about the upcoming Resident Evil 2 Remake. We know that the developers wanted to build it from the ground up so what kind of changes can we expect?

Fans were worried that they would change the camera angle of the game although there were others that think that it is a great idea. What would you like to see in the remake of Resident Evil 2?

Give the fans a chance to switch between camera angles; similar to (but not exactly like) TES: Oblivion and Skyrim with addition to the static cameras.

It’s quite simple isn’t it? REmake has already proven that if you tweak & refine an original, you create a masterpiece. That’s all REmake 2 needs to do.
As for perspective, fixed for me. Having said that, in this generation of gaming, why the hell isn’t there perspective choice!? Fallout, for example, has 3rd & 1st person. Why not Resident Evil?
It will satisfy the old & new gamers alike, give it a lot of replay ability, without massive dependancy on DLC & ridiculous Season Passes. And stop all the bickering between the fan bases. Hope they do REmake 2 the justice it deserves 😉
