That was how it was until last week when footage of Planetside 2 for the PS4 got leaked on YouTube. The video came with a link and clicking on it will take gamers to the PSN Store. Right there, one can easily spot Planetside 2 listed with its release date of 26 May this month.
While it all sounds great, it is important for the fans not to get their hopes high as the date is nothing more but a placeholder. It is still unconfirmed.
As for the footage, it looks fake as there are no in-game HUDs and most parts of the game elements got censored. Nevertheless, it should give a great idea on what to expect in Planetside 2.
While everything that has been revealed should be taken with a pinch of salt, fans can expect the game to be coming in this term as a placeholder is never far off from the game’s debut date.
