It seems that gamers who have been anticipating Planetside 2 have been led to believe a hoax release date. The date which was confirmed on a video may sound convincing but it is nothing more than a fake.
Now, the Planetside community will have to wait for an unknown duration for the second instalment to arrive.
Looking back on the hoax video, it reveals the footage of the game on the PS4, together with a view on the PSN store. There, fans were able to notice a 26 May date revealed to be Planetside 2’s release date.
However, when fans clicked on the link, it leads them to the ad which is nothing more than a placeholder. It is not a confirmed detail.
On another note, the footage was seen without the game’s HUD. Only the PC platform is able to remove that feature. As such, the video-makers have been lying their teeth to claim it to be the PS4 version of Planetside 2.
Nevertheless, it is still safe to assume Planetside 2 to arrive on the PS4 sometime before July. When the game debuts in the future, it will be like Planetside 2 on the PC.
