Many spy shots of the 2016 Toyota Fortuner have already been seen and we are now being treated with the reveal of the 7 seated SUV in Thailand and Australia. The car has been based around the new Hilux pickup and we predict that it will become available to dealerships in Australia by the end of October.

The 2016 Toyota Fortuner claims to be tough vehicle and offers genuine 4WD. The SUV is making its way to Australia in the form of GX, GXL and the Crusade and these versions will all offer the 2.8 litre four-cylinder, direct injection turbo diesel engine which will be able to give 175hp and 450Nm of torque.

The engine of the 2016 Toyota Fortuner is believed to be either the six speed manual version of six speed automatic which both offer trailer sway control.
