Microsoft Lumia 950 XL: In The Past Is Where It Belongs

By  |

It has been speculated that Microsoft might have started to phase out their Microsoft Lumia 950 XL after the device status on their UK online store was changed to “Out Of Stock”. While some people believe that it is just a temporary thing, other think that it is more permanent than we think.

The same thing happened to the Lumia 950 weeks ago and up to this day, the device still hasn’t been restocked. With the kind of response these devices got, we are not surprised if Microsoft decides to stop producing them.

In fact, some people also think that Microsoft will also ditch the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL if or when they come out with a new OS. They did it to the Lumia 900 when they came out with the Windows 10 OS which is why some people think that they will do the same to the 950 and 950 XL as well.

I recently upgraded from the Lumia 928 to the Lumia 950. The 950 does everything I need it to do better than any other phone. Why is Microsoft discontinuing support for a fine Windows 10 mobile device?

I agree, I have the Lumia 950xl and I find it to be an excellent device. The biggest problem is nobody really knows about them, you go into a mobile shop and ask for a new phone you are always pointed to Samsung and iPhone, and when you do ask for a Microsoft phone no one in the shop has any information on them or they have never used one before, which is a shame if more people understood what it was capable of maybe more people would pick them up.

I just loaded all of my music onto a Micro SD card and slipped it into my new Lumia 950. The new Windows 10 app, Groove Music, helps to organize and play it all, all 60 GB of it. This is a great device.
