Mahindra Komodo Concept: What The Designer Says

Makrand Patil was a student at IED Torino and now, his name is on the headlines of many car magazines and blogs. This is after Patil’s concept design, got selected by Mahindra for production.

The study shows a large, beautiful SUV running on the sandy off-road terrain. Patil called the vehicle the Komodo concept. Surprisingly, the study was created back when Patil was still studying in IED.

In a recent interview with the youngster, Patil described the Komodo as something that is perfect for the local Indian market. After all, India’s roads are not very friendly to drive on as they are poorly maintained.

The SUV comes with a design that is appealing to the general masses regardless of the consumer’s age. Heck, it is also built as a general vehicle that fits everyone’s needs. Patil claims that the Komodo will make a great family vehicle aside from being an off-road monster.

Designing the Komodo has always been Patil’s dream and he managed to make it as a symbol to Mahindra’s vision to set a benchmark in Capability, Authenticity in design and function. It specializes in Durability and Reliability for the Indian market having a justified evolution.

It is unsure on when Mahindra will look to produce the Komodo but once the vehicle gets created, we could see it challenging other major SUVs on every front.
