Is This The Google Nexus 6?

Specs and features of the LG G3 have leaked and some people say that this gives us an idea of what to expect from the Google Nexus 6, when it arrives later on this year.

LG have been doing well in the market, which has up to now been dominated by Samsung and Apple. The LG G2, their current smartphone has done well and it is on most of the major carriers in the US.

When the Nexus 5 came out the base was on the LG G2 and LG are thought to be the company behind the Nexus 6, which may mean the base for the device is on the LG G3.

The LG G3 is heading to AT&T and Verizon and we did see the model numbers posted on the LG website briefly before then being removed. They were listed as Verizon VS985 and AT&T LG D-850.

We have also heard about the specs of the LG G3 and these were leaked by a Dutch website. The report said that the LG G3 will have a display of 5.5 inches QHD with a display of 1440 x 2560 and 538ppi. The processor is said to be the Octa-core MediaTek.

There have also been rumours that the LG G3 could have the 64bit processor and this could be made in-house. We have also heard recent rumours which suggest that it could have the 2.2 GHz to 2.5 GHz Cortex-A17 cores and four 1.7 GHz Cortex-A7 cores that are comparable to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor.

LG is said to be working with Google in designing the Nexus 6 so it would make sense for the LG G3 to be the base for the Nexus 6.

It is thought that the device could have a fingerprint scanner so it would compete with the Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 5S. We have also heard that it could be dust and water proof.
