Half Life 3: How Would A Co-Op Option Play Out?

The Half Life series is among the greatest single-player game every created. As the fans wait on for the third sequel, they were caught wondering on how it will be like if Half Life 3 features a multiplayer co-op mode.

For a start, such an idea will definitely be welcomed by the fans as it enables them to try on other characters for a change. The Half Life community would love it if they could play as Alyx, Vortigaunt and Dog to name a few.

Together with Gordon Freeman, the team of 4 will have to rely on each other in a bid to defeat the Combine. In more detail, Gordon will be the weapon master. Then there is Alyx who is a technical expert and required to open Combine doors. Dog will be the tank and has the strength to clear rubbles and toss heavy boulders. Finally is the Vortigaunt that is gifted with high energy.

Having these four characters playable in a co-op mode will certainly be something else in Half Life 3. Come to think of it, there is a possibility for this to happen. Valve has been credited for developing Left 4 Dead. With that in mind, Half Life 3 might just improve on this mechanism and offer a 4-player co-op mode.

More importantly, Valve should announce on Half Life 3. The fans have been kept waiting for a decade now and the torture is relentless.
