Chevrolet: We Need More Colorados

Late last year, Chevrolet launched a new-generation of Colorado and ever since then, the mid-sized pickup truck became the hottest selling vehicle around. Even today, the demands for the Colorado are at its peak and this is giving Chevrolet a hard time in ensuring sufficient supply.

This is surprising really as statistics showed that mid-sized pickup truck is a dead segment. Even so, there is a big void which Chevrolet has filled to cater to those that dislikes large trucks.

The Colorado is produced at the Wentzville Assembly plant in Missouri and now, Chevrolet has revealed that they are looking to hire 1000 more workers to aid them in increasing production of the vehicle.

At this rate, Chevrolet will be able to produce about 2,000 pickup trucks in a month. The demands for the Colorado don’t look like slowing down anytime too soon and this can only mean well for our country’s crumbling economy.
