We know that Apple is keeping all the good stuff for the Apple iPhone 8 and it looks like among all the goodies is a new flexible display screen.
Talks about Apple working on an iPhone with a curved screen have been going on for some time now especially after the patent for the wraparound design was release. Now, a new patent reveals that Apple was also granted the rights for an LED structure that will include “flexible substrates.
Of course, the display might not be solely for the Apple iPhone as Apple stated in the patent that it could be used for TV, laptops, phones, digital camera, and more. The technology is based on a technology that LuxVue had when Appl acquired the company a few years ago.
Of course, there is a possibility that we might even see it as well as patents like this are filed all the time and most of the time, they won’t make it past that stage.
