2017 Subaru BRZ VS 2016: What’s Different Now?

Subaru decided to give the Subaru BRZ an upgrade for 2017. So what did they do to the BRZ?

Well, they upgraded the exterior of the Subaru BRZ. The front end now comes with an upgraded bumper design and headlights. The rear was fitted with a set of LED taillights along with an aluminium spoiler. The alloy wheel design has been upgraded as well.

Under the hood is a 2.0-liter boxer engine that will be delivering about 205hp and 156lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. There is also an auto transmission option but that will only deliver about 200hp and 151lb ft of torque.

Subaru also upgraded the coil springs and dampers of the vehicle. The 2017 model will also be fitted with the Incline Start Assist system. They also made some changes to the interior like changing the position of the LCD display and give the Subaru BRZ a new steering design.
