A lot of people were not happy with the previous infotainment system that Ford had offered. The MyFord Touch was complicated and hard to use and their customers were just fed up of it. It ended up being one of the biggest reason why people did not get a Ford model. Ford soon learn their lesson and worked on the new Sync 3 and things have gotten better for them but now, it looks like Mazda is heading down the same path.

While Mazda’s infotainment system is not that bad now, it is missing one crucial feature, the Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay support. While it might not be important for some, it is still one of the features that every automaker is working to bring to their new models.

Mazda’s decision to not offer the support on their 2017 Mazda 6 might force their customers to consider some other models. How important is the support to you?
