Jeep can try covering up the exterior of the Jeep Wrangler but they can’t possibly be covering up the bottom of the Jeep Wrangler. Thanks to a few images taken from the underside of the Jeep Wrangler, we got some additional details on what changes the Jeep Wrangler will be coming in with.
While we still do not much about the design of the 20017 Jeep Wrangler, it is believed that Jeep plans to keep most of the Jeep Wrangler design for now which means it will probably come in looking similar to the current model.
The images also reveal that Jeep will be making some changes to the other parts of the Jeep Wrangler which will include the axles, suspension geometry, exhaust and more. There is still no details on what engine Jeep will be using but it has been suggested that we might see the Pentastar V6 engine under the hood.
There were also talks about a four cylinder diesel engine, as well as a ZF, sourced eight-speed auto transmission.
