2017 Honda HR-V Follows Bigger Sibling Down The Wrong Path

The thing about the Honda HR-V and most of the Honda models right now is that they do not have a hybrid option available and because of that, it does feel like they are losing out on a huge piece of the market.

Honda fans have been hoping that Honda would start offering the Honda CR-V with a hybrid option now that Toyota has started offering it on their Toyota RAV4 model but it does not look like the hybrid model is coming anytime soon. If the CR-V does not get a hybrid powertrain, it is highly possible that the HR-V will also not be getting a hybrid powertrain.

Without the hybrid engine, will the Honda HR-V be able to take on the Toyota C-HR which now comes with a 1.8-liter hybrid engine?

There were rumors saying that Honda will start offering more hybrid models when they start releasing the 2018 model, let’s hope the CR-V and the HR-V are on the list.
