It is no secret that Chevrolet is currently developing the Corvette Zora ZR1 and the vehicle is due to make its debut at the end of next year.
Earlier today, Chevrolet made it known that the Corvette Zora ZR1 will be built on an entirely new platform and this will see the engine getting repositioned. In detail, the motor will be placed in the middle, towards the rear.
Such a positioning obviously suggest an ultra-fast acceleration time. In addition to that, the Corvette Zora ZR1 is going to come out with aluminium parts to ensure that it remains light. This can only further improve the ca’s performance.
While details might be scarce at the moment, it is somewhat obvious that the Corvette Zora ZR1 is going to run on a supercharged V8 engine. The motor will have at least 700hp to offer and this is so that it can compete with the Dodge Hellcats and Porsche 911 Turbo.
