Chevrolet has been enjoying tremendous success with the latest generation Colorado but unfortunately, the carmaker has to end 2015 in bad shape. No, we are not talking about sales. We are referring to the recall order which was made earlier today and it involves the Colorado.
An investigation discovered that the console compartment lid inside the vehicle can open during a crash and this puts the driver and passengers at risk of getting injured from the items that are stored inside it.
This might not sound like much but Chevrolet is not taking any chances. The 2016 Chevrolet Colorado that was produced from August 25 to September 24 this year have been recalled and owners of the pickup truck have been notified accordingly.
The Colorado owners are advised to bring the pickup truck in for inspection and if the console compartment is truly faulty, the dealers will be replacing it for free.
