2016 Chevrolet Camaro: Bigger Is Not Always Better

The Chevrolet Camaro is one of the most popular American sports car in history and it is about to get refreshed with an all new model that is due to arrive next year. Today, fans of the Camaro can already catch a glimpse of the next-gen Camaro after spy shots of it got leaked online.

The spy shots basically show the future Camaro running some test while being hidden under camouflage. Upon viewing the spy shots, the first thing fans should notice is that the next-gen Camaro is actually smaller than before.

This is not surprising since Chevrolet has already confirmed that the vehicle will be built on the Cadillac ATS platform, which is similarly smaller. Regardless, the size shrinkage implies that the Camaro will be lighter, thus being better optimized for power and more fuel efficient than before.

As mentioned before, the Camaro is wrapped in thick camouflage so there is no way for us to discuss on the design detail of the vehicle. Of course, we expect Chevrolet to spill more beans prior to the Camaro’s debut next year.
