£42,950. That is the price of the future Honda Civic Type-R, which is bound to make its debut later this year. The announcement of the launching price was made by Honda UK via their Twitter page yesterday and it created a commotion among the car enthusiasts.
Apparently, many find the quoted price for the Civic Type-R too steep. However, enthusiasts should also note that the Civic Type-R is going to be a revolutionary sports hatch. The car is already crowned as the fastest FWD to ever race at Nurnbergring and this record was achieved while the hatch is still in development.
To further justify the price, Honda UK shared that buyers of the Civic Type-R will also be getting a day free track pass. Of course, £42,950 is expensive so if anyone wishes to own the Civic Type-R, they better start saving now.
