2015 Ford Ranger Wildtrack Driven In Thailand!

Just recently, Ford confirmed that the Ranger will get refreshed with a brand new model and it is due to arrive later this year. The pickup truck will be made for the Asia Pacific region and now, consumers in the area can already take a good look at the vehicle.

This is possible thanks to a spy shot that shows the Ford Ranger being tested on the streets of Thailand. At a glance, we can immediately tell that it will be the Wildtrack trim due to the darkened front grille, bumper, roof bars and decals.

Of course, the spy shot didn’t share on how the Ford Ranger’s interior looks like but we can expect it to feature SYNC 2 infotainment system. To complete the package, there will be two different engine options coming with the Ranger and they are the Duratorq TCDi 4-cylinder that develops 148hp and 375Nm of torque and the 3.2L 5-cylinder turbodiesel that develops 197hp and 470Nm of torque.

Consumers can also select between the Getrag-designed MT82 six-speed manual transmission and the 6R80 six-speed automatic gearbox to pair with the engine. Of course, this will be further confirmed when the Ranger gets released in June this year.
