2015 Ford Bronco Developed By SVT?

The Ford Bronco is a legendary name in the SUV segment of the automotive industry. The car was super popular back in the mid-90s but it failed to make it into the second millennium. Soon, the Bronco will look to make its return and it will be based on the existing Ford Atlas.

New reports revealed to us that the Bronco is a controversial subject inside Ford’s headquarters. The SUV has long been in Ford’s production plans but failed to make the break due to the disapproval with the vehicle’s architecture. It is understood that the only way for the Bronco to be revived is through turning it into an SVT vehicle.

Then again, this isn’t possible at the moment as Ford has already got the Raptor on its line-up. On the contrary, the latter is expected to reach an end in production late next-year and it could finally pave the way for the Bronco’s revival.

If this is to be true, then the Bronco will be developed by Ford’s Special Vehicle Team. Also, the SUV could be ready for a release as early as Q4 2016. The Bronco will definitely come with the same design language from the past model as it looks to take back the crown in the 4×4 market.

Fans can expect two diesel motors and one petrol engine options coming with the Bronco and they are the 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 engine that generates 420hp, the 4.9-liter Powerstroke V-6 Diesel which offers 330hp and the Powerstroke V-6 diesel engine.
