2015 Chevy Colorado: A Truck That Cares For The Environment

All the buzzes are on Chevrolet’s latest pickup truck, the Colorado. The all-new model is considered as a saint in its segment due to its perfect balance of power and efficiency. This is proven further after GM released the EPA fuel economy estimates for the entry-level Colorado.

The released information revealed that the pickup truck offers 3 to 5mpg more fuel mileage than its competitors. In detail, the 2WD 305-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine powering the Colorado returns 18mpg city, 21mpg combined and 26mpg when on highways. As for the AWD variant running on the same mill, it returns 17mpg city, 20mpg combined and 24mpg when on the highway.

The pickup truck’s marketing manager, Tony Johnson, was thrilled when announcing that the Colorado offers some of the best EPA fuel economy estimates of any pickup in a fun-to-drive, easy-to-own package. The lad added that the accomplishment was owed to the new aerodynamic design which is complimented by an active grille shutter.

Truly, the Colorado creates a new benchmark in efficiency for the midsize trucks market. Furthermore, the Colorado is both stylish and affordable to own. It is no wonder that the truck is selling like hotcakes.
