2014 Jeep Wrangler Review: A Modern Classic Joyful Ride

Unlike most other carmakers, Jeep only makes 4×4.Well; at least most of its vehicles are pure off-roaders. Just weeks ago, the American carmaker launched the new Wrangler and it arrived with some great features.

Retailing at £27,595, the Wrangler 2.8 CRD Sahara auto 4d is powered by a 2.8L four-pot diesel mill that produces a whopping 197hp and 339 lb-ft of torque. With so much power, it is no surprise that the Wrangler is able to offer a thrilling driving experience when we tested it.

However, the car is not fit for long distance travels as it can get pretty boring due to the lack of features. Efficiency has also improved as the Wrangler returns 34mpg.

Another thing to note is that the Wrangler also arrived with a 4-door variant. Even the two-door version is already built with a longer wheel measurement and taller height.

Inside the 4×4, everything is roomy so there are no complaints in that department. We highly advise fans of the Wrangler against getting the soft top variant. After all, the cargo space is somewhat limited and storing the soft top will not help in freeing up more space.

All in all, the Jeep Wrangler is truly an exciting vehicle to jump on the small hills off the road. When on the road, it is best used when travelling in near distances or when cruising by the beach. The car is simply not exciting when on the highway.
