Sony has revealed the Xperia X2 Sirius for 2014 and the flagship handset will compete against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Apple iPhone 5S. So why should you choose the Sony handset?
The Sony Xperia Z2 will offer KitKat 4.4.2 along with the Xperia home launcher which comes with two choices, the simple and the original. Along with this the UI is lighter and it comes complete with some exclusive apps from Sony, which include Xperia locator and Sony Select.
The Xperia Z2 features a battery of 3,200mAh, the one of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is 2,800mAh. Sony have also included power management features in KitKat 4.4.2 and the STAMINA mode helps to keep the battery from draining down when the handset is idle. Users can customise the apps they want by putting them on the white list and can low battery mode can be enabled to save juice.
The Sony Xperia Z1 came with a TFT display and this has been updated on the Xperia Z2 to an IPS LCD display. This means that the angles for viewing images and videos are much better with the in-plane switching technology. Owners can enjoy 424ppi, plus the display is shatter proof and scratch resistant.
