I recently dropped my Droid Razr Maxx and it now proudly shows a small crack on the display. This is bad to look at but the handset still works and I am due for an upgrade in February, just a month away. So for now I can manage with the crack and have been considering whether to go for the Samsung Galaxy S4 in February or hang on a bit longer and wait for the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
There have been a lot of rumours going around which point to the Samsung Galaxy S5 arriving with some superb specs. I would be gutted if I rushed out to get the Samsung Galaxy S4 and then one month later Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy S5 and it was a lot better than the S4. Therefore, should I bite the bullet and wait for what could be 3 or 4 months to see what is offered with the Samsung Galaxy S5 as I heard it would arrive in May, or wait a month and get the Samsung Galaxy S4.
This has been a bit of a quandary for me as the Samsung Galaxy S4 is a great looking handset and it shouldn’t be too long before it is offered free on contract. Especially with rumours of the Samsung Galaxy S5 release going around. So I could get a superb and powerful handset for next to nothing, perhaps cheaper the closer I wait to the release of the S5. The Samsung Galaxy S5 may outdo the S4 but when it first arrives, it will be costly. So it seems that it would be a matter of price versus the changes and better specs of the Samsung Galaxy S5 when it arrives. Would it be silly to get the Samsung Galaxy S4 when the Samsung Galaxy S5 could be just around the corner? I think so and think I will wait to see what Samsung offer with the Samsung Galaxy S5 and then choose between them.
