I’m not sure if it has anything to do with Chinese New Year or an attempt to be a candy in the eye but the “Product Red” trend from Apple has certainly caught my attention. Just about everything with the Product Red tag simply looks dazzling.
If you are a stranger to this, allow me to clear the air. Apple has recently launch its Product Red movement where every of its products gets a brand new reddish look. For instance, iPhone 5s casings are now available in Product Red and the iPod Shuffle too comes in full Product Red.
This Product Red movement is infecting the world. Now, Google is also spotted going Red. The latest Nexus 5 device was first released in either black or white. Heck, even the Nexus 4 was mostly black in colour with a small percentage of it coming in white.
A leak reveals that Google is set to introduce more colours to its line of phones. The picture shows how the Nexus 5 would look like if it comes in red. It is not just that. Many rumours are surfacing suggesting Google to add in 8 different colours to its flagship product.
As a matter of fact, these rumours even confirm Google to make an official announcement about it late in February next month. The MWC in Barcelona looks like the ideal setting if Google were to do so. All in all, these are still rumours so take it with a grain of salt. We will know for sure once MWC is over.
