The Google Nexus smartphones have always offered that high-end performance at an extremely low-cost. We have seen it with the latest Nexus 5 and we’re expecting this feat to return in the upcoming Nexus 6.
As such, consumers are recommended to hold their phone upgrades at least until the Nexus 6 gets released. Just from the rumours, the Nexus 6 has so much to offer as Google would want to improve from the already great Nexus 5.
Word has it that the Nexus 6 will have a much larger battery capacity. Let’s be fair, the Nexus 5 has been rather poor when it comes to getting an adequate power supply.
With the entire craze on super cameras coming to smartphone, expect Google to jump in the trend with its Nexus 6. This upcoming device is expected to wow the users with great quality images captured and populates the sharp ‘2K display’.
The Nexus have been growing over the years in terms of display size. This is going to continue with the Nexus 6 which will look to surpass the 5inch mark. Who know? Maybe the 6 might just mean 6-inch screen.
With every Nexus release, there is always something new that will shape the future of smartphones. In the Android world, there has yet to be a 64-bit processor. Google might be the pioneer and build the Nexus 6 with the recently released Moorefield.
Finally is endurance. There have been strong speculations that the Nexus smartphones will be ending with Nexus 6. If so, Google would definitely want to immortalize it. As such, expect the Nexus 6 to be indestructible with it being waterproof, dustproof, scratchproof and even shockproof.
All in all, there is a massive amount of potential with the Nexus 6. The least consumers could do is wait until Google unveil the real thing. This is expected to happen during the Google I/O conference later this year.
