It seems that the smartphone industry is going for gold this year. HTC ignite the gold rush as the phone manufacturer looks to release a limited edition golden HTC One 2.
This smartphone will have a gold edition and BestBuy has got itself the exclusivity to sell the HTC One gold edition. It is unknown on how long this deal with HTC will last but the retailer will look to capitalize on this.
The HTC One will be sold at $600, which is about the same price as its predecessor the day it got released.
Samsung, who just unveiled the Galaxy S5 earlier this month, too joined in the gold movement. The phone vendor revealed last week that a golden Galaxy S5 will also be available when the device gets distributed.
