The unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S5 during the Mobile World Congress a while back certainly shook the world. This upcoming device from Samsung is the best smartphone ever created to date. This early demonstration of the S5 is certainly a worrying sight for bitter rivals, Apple.
It appears that a sharp incline of Apple users are now considering making the switch to Samsung. There is no denying that the iPhone has acquired a huge market share in the smartphone industry. Ever since the first iPhone got released, more and more users had become part of the Apple community.
However, the setback is clear. With every iPhone release, there is a major improvement with the processor and some additions here and there. The upgrade is so minimal and the fact that users can’t do stuffs on the iPhone like how others can on their respective Android devices are certainly a huge bait to lure iPhone users to make that switch.
Another factor to consider is the fact that there is so much secrecy on the iPhone 6. The only thing that is likely is that iPhone 6 will have a much bigger screen. Apart from that, there is no telling on what the device will be like.
On the other hand, there is the price tag. Iphones are relatively more expensive than their Android counterparts. Looking at the previous release pattern of iPhones, Apple tends to give the successor a small upgrade.
With both of these factors in mind and the S5 stealing the spotlight, Apple are at a huge risk of losing its loyal customers.
