There has been a great deal of talk about virtual currency in NBA 2K14 for quite some time now. Over two months 2K released VC for annual basketball games for what seemed to be each week. Early during the currency giveaway it only applied to those who owned the Xbox 360 and PS3, this was then followed by the Xbox One and PS4. More recently it has been only for those with the next gen consoles, so the question on the lips of fans is whether 2K has given up on owners of the older gen consoles.
Recently Locker Codes came out and these were for owners of the Xbox One and PS4 who played MyTeam mode. The codes gave away VC points to the tune of 20,000 in MyTeam mode. If you have the code but don’t know how to use it just follow the steps below.
Go to the main menu
– Select Locker Codes
– You will enter the NBA 2K14 Locker Code that you have (Use All Numbers, Letter And Dashes)
– Go to Enter on the virtual keyboard and you will have your 20,000 VC points
A lot of the criticism about the game has now died down after the third patch for the game. However there is no denying that the damage has been done already and some gamers chose to sell their copy after suffering glitches and crashes.
