When it comes to an open world sandbox game, there is no denying Minecraft is among the best there is. Mojang’s very own Minecraft was among the best-selling games over the past couple of years.
Today, the game has finally ported over to both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Such a move increased the population in the Minecraft community. Now, playing the game is more socially engaging than ever. There is not much difference between the both desktops, the PC and Mac, and the consoles, Xbox 360 and PS3.
The game was able to maintain its traditional gameplay. There aren’t any major changes to the world they are set in. However, the controls need some revamping. Unlike the desktop where a keyboard is utilized to play the game, the console has a fixed number of keys to press.
On the keyboard, many functions can simply be mapped on the keyboard via the settings. This isn’t the case with the controllers from the consoles. They are often grouped together which needs some getting used to.
Apart from that, kudos to 4J Studios for bringing the game over to the consoles. While the buttons might not be the best from the game developer, players will have to make do or risk losing the game.
