The status of Half Life 3 is probably the biggest modern day gaming mystery ever. For ten years the fans have been kept waiting for the game and there is still no word from Valve on the matter. In spite of that, the list of demands for features coming in Half Life 3 is getting longer by the minute.
The latest on that list is the Portal gun. The fans clearly want to use this weapon in Half Life 3. Although it might spoil the balance of the game, perhaps Valve should introduce it later in the mission or simply make it to be an unlockable.
As for the G-man, there are still a lot of unanswered questions about this character from the Half Life series. Fans felt like there is something going on between G-man and Gordon. For many times now, the G-man was there to save Gordon. This is one of the biggest point to why Valve should finish off what they’ve created.
If there is one thing from the first two titles that deserves to be in Half Life 3, it is the element of surprise. When playing the predecessors, there are plenty of surprises waiting to poach on the player at random periods. It happens to be the core thrill factor of the game.
With all this in mind, it is up to Valve to materialize these ideas. For reasons unknown, Valve seems to avoid Half Life 3 for so long now. The best suggestion for the game developer is to get the Half Life series over and dealt with by simply creating Half Life 3.
