GTA 5 is a game that replicates reality. The only key difference is that GTA 5 makes every task much more fun to do. What worries the society is the game’s influence to the players as it often has that criminal-minded approach.
It was a month ago when the GTA 5 community got invaded by hackers which set fire to the game’s economy. The hackers spoiled the entire multiplayer mode by gifting unlimited amount of hacked GTA dollars to the masses. In addition to that, some of these hackers even went as far as being invincible.
The hackers are no longer in control of the game. After much complains from the players, Rockstar has stepped out of the shadows in a bid to regain control of GTA Online. The game developer handled the game by force as they capture all the players who have hijacked it.
At the moment, there is a sharp decline in the number of hackers appearing in GTA Online. Rockstar detained all of them on a separate lobby known as, Cheater’s Lobby. The culprits will be placed there for an unknown time period.
The actions taken by Rockstar were great. However, the game developer forgot that GTA 5 is still a game. Redditor DrGirthinstein believed the game developer has made a mistake. Instead of banning them from public lobbies, they should place them in prisons.
The Redditor suggested that hackers should be able to join the public servers but can only spawn in the prison. The player will have to make use of his bare hands or a knife at most. Bad Sports can remain there for the entire length of their ban. Yet, they too got the opportunity to perform a prison break.
It gets interesting. DrGirthinstein stated that if these culprits were to escape, an automatic 5 star wanted level will be in place and being captured or death will return the lad to the prison. This also open doors to having bounty placed on prison breakers.
This whole idea sounds great and will make GTA Online more interesting. The idea of seeing hackers stuck in a cage with other hackers. It will definitely be a test of egos. It is a great punishment for a great crime.
