Jailbreak is a term used when the iOS is cracked. Instead of being pessimistic about it, the jailbreak offer users a whole other dimension of the iPhone. Things get more personal when the iOS is jailbroken.
The latest jailbreak involves the iOS 7 and it was created by Evad3rs. The crack was created not long ago and recently, Apple rolled out the iOS 7.1 to its devices. This latest OS to come from Apple is packed with many improvements and the highly anticipated Car Play feature. More importantly, the iOS 7.1 patches the entire security lapse discovered in the iOS 7.
The irony is that Evad3rs were the one who discovered the security loopholes. Apple is aware of it and despite the duo being enemies, the US tech giant publicly applauded the team of hackers.
As the hope of the jailbreak community begins to quiet down, Winocm came out and lighted up the darkness. The well-known hacker uploaded a video which showed the untethered iOS 7.1, running on an iPhone 4S.
Wincm’s move was certainly meant to despise Apple for claiming that iOS 7.1 is unbreakable. To add salt to the wound, the video surfaced only days after Apple made such announcement. It left the world wondering on the extent of these hackers’ capabilities.
However, this is still very new. The jailbreak was on the iPhone 4, which runs on the A4 processor. The newer processors have a different system which makes it much harder to break. Then again, another hacker known as iH8sn0w came out hinting that the A5 iOS 7.1 jailbreak is a done deal.
Above all that, it is important for jailbreakers to avoid updating their iPhones. No matter how tempting it may sound, it is best to stay patient and wait for the pros to release the untethered iOS 7.1.
