The Xiaomi MI5 is great but what made people stand up and take notice is the fact that smartphone comes with a way smaller price tag even though it comes with specs that match some of the premium smartphones in the market like the Samsung Galaxy S7.
The Xiaomi Mi5 comes in with a 5.2inch display screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution and a pixel count of 428ppi. The latest flagship will come with new features like the fingerprint sensor and will be running on the latest Snapdragon 820 with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi5 will be equipped with a 16MP rear camera and a 4MP front camera and will be powered by a 3000mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S7, on the other hand, will come with a 5.1inch display screen with 1440 x 2560 resolution and 576ppi. The device will be running on their own Exynos 8 Octa 8890 chip with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will also come with a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
With the kind of price the Xiaomi Mi5 is selling for, the device could really give the S7 a run for its money if it was to be sold in the US.
